Benedetta Tagliabue, Barcelona, is a renowned Italian architect established in Barcelona for more than twenty years. In 1991 she started her collaboration with Enric Miralles with whom she founded Miralles Tagliabue EMBT studio in 1994. She designed her first project in China in 2010 – the Spanish Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo 2010 – and received the prestigious RIBA International Award for Best International Building in 2009.
Benedetta Tagliabue heads the studio EMBT, whose work has been exhibited in MOMA, Centre Pompidou and in many others monographic exhibitions around the World. She is constantly teaching and giving lectures in architectural forums or universities all over the world. This year she is a visiting professor at the GSD Harvard University.
